About this product
MARK Iodex is a warming rub for deeper pain: knees, lower back, shoulders and sprains. Methyl salicylate and turpentine oil sink below the skin and increase blood flow to the joint, while menthol takes the edge off within minutes. It is stronger than a balm, so use a small amount and wash your hands afterwards.
How to use
- Apply a thin layer over the painful joint or muscle.
- Massage gently for two minutes until warm.
- Use up to three times a day.
- Wash hands after use and keep away from the eyes.
- Do not bandage tightly over the rub.
Ingredients
Methyl salicylate, menthol, turpentine oil, eucalyptus oil, camphor, wax base.
Benefits
- Warming relief for joint and back pain
- Works on sprains and stiffness
- Non-staining, no strong lingering smell
- Trusted formula, honest price
Questions and answers
- Balm or Iodex, which one?
- Balm cools: headaches, colds, tight neck. Iodex warms: joint stiffness, backache, a sprain, sore muscles after work or exercise. Many homes keep both.
- How do I use it?
- Massage a small amount into the painful area two or three times a day. Do not bandage tightly over it and do not use with a heating pad.
- Can I use it on a fresh injury?
- Wait 24 to 48 hours after a sprain, and never on broken skin. For a new swollen injury, cold first; warmth after.
- Is it safe in pregnancy?
- Ask your doctor before using any warming rub in pregnancy.
